中国南方航空面试经验谈

大家好，我肥来了~ 抱歉了那么久才回来更新我的部落格。看看我的部落格已经铺上那么厚的灰尘~ LOL。这次回来是以中文来写是因为这次想跟大家分享我这次中国南方航空的面试。

刚开始是在Flygosh看到这个新闻，得知中国南方航空招聘马来西亚籍空服员。当时吓了一跳因为这还是中国第一次到马来西亚招聘空服员。刚开始对这公司一无所知但却被他们的制服吸引了，就上网看了看他们的资料，得知这航空其实来头不小，是全世界数一数二的航空公司，总部在广州。

好奇心强的我，当天看到了这则新闻就马上下载了他们的表格填上交了上去。之后过了大约1星期左右，我就收到了他们的邮件，叫我10月27日到Intercontinental Hotel进行面试。当天我却有事情做就缺席了。很幸运的，他们叫我28日再回去面试。所以28日我就去了

第一轮面试

到hotel后，就去柜台拿号码，然后进行第一轮面试。6人一组，进去站在号码上对着4位评委，然后用中文进行一轮的自我介绍。过后，评委们就吩咐我们手脚合并，向左转一圈，再绕着评委们走一圈回到自己的号码上，伸手让他们检查手掌和手背，之后就出去等成绩

第二轮面试

重新拿号码，也是6人一组。进去坐在自己的号码上。每人到评委那里抽签，抽到的标题使用英语来解释。每人会有2分钟的时间想，然后再用2分钟的时间解释。我当天得到的问题是‘没有人永远会赢’。每人说完了之后，回到自己的座位，评委给个题目开始辩论会~ 3人是正方，3人是反方，5分钟的时间开始辩论。然后就可以回家，他们会通过电话通知你。如果傍晚6点前没有收到电话就表示面试失败了

第三轮面试

重新拿号码，拿了号码的向他们拿制服，换上他们的制服然后也是分为6人一组进行面试。面试前每人必须拍一张半身照和一张全身照。进去站在自己的号码上，同样的和第一轮面试一样，使用中文进行自我介绍，同样的手脚合并，向左转一圈，再绕着评委们走一圈回到自己的号码上，然后每人读一篇中文短文，之后评委们会根据我们的resume来进行问答题，之后也是回家等通知啦。

很可惜的，我失败了。最后一轮的面试我并没有收到通知，我的朋友们都拿到了，星期一就去medical check up。其实我也不知道自己失败在哪里，可能是身高吧？因为我在我的resume里诚实的填写160cm，但是他们的高度标准却是163cm LOL~ 好吧，这间航空也不属于我，说真的，我到底要留在我现在这间航空多久啊？ =.= 哭死

PS：但是这次面试真的很特别因为我还是第一次使用中文来面试，哈哈

命运

今天不知怎么的，心血来潮想写华语~ 可能我英语不大好，所以华语最能表达我心里的话吧~ 看了我的标题，不知道你们对于‘命运’这事怎么看呢？这篇想跟大家分享分享下我所谓‘命运’的经历。

如果你们一路以来有看我部落格的话，相信你们都知道我一直以来都是‘钟情’于Emirates Airline。从以前到现在我都很希望自己能拿到Emirates，所以一路以来我都一直很努力。我第一次面试Emirates的时候是在2011年的时候~ 没错，是2年前。当初是我一位朋友一直拉我去，那时的我没有考虑过Emirates，因为我觉得赚钱何必去到那么远呢？我去了那次面试之后，听了他们的Company briefing后，我感受到他们是如何的爱护他们的员工，区区一个员工竟可以得到那么多的好处，和我的公司真的是相差一个天一个地~ 从那天起，我就跟自己说我要Emirates。

但是‘命运弄人’~ Emirates终究不是属于我的。我第一次面试失败在3rd Stage before Final，需等6个月；第二次面试失败是在Final，需等1年；第三次面试时我直接失败在量身高那里，连面试的机会都没有就被轰了出来；第四次面试我以为我准备得很好了，一直都很顺利的进到了3rd Stage before Final，在那里我又失败了~ 在我拿着那张‘Thank you for coming’的那张信时，我的眼泪在眼里打转，谁的安慰话我都听不进耳了，不敢置信的看着那封信，心里想着：明明身边的那2个女生英语比我差，甚至连答都答不到，她们竟然拿到？而拿到的不是我？为什么？

回到家，我默默不语，眼泪一直掉一直掉~ 家人陆续安慰我但我都听不进，妈妈为了让我知道答案就带我见我的干妈（我的干妈会帮人看人相）~ 干妈看到我，就跟我说：“你并不属于Emirates，所以天不让你离开，不让你成功，如果你硬要去那个国家，你的身体健康将出现大问题。”她还跟我说：“你在你现在的公司会做得越来越好，或者是香港/台湾的航空都不错。”

我听了之后，呆掉了~ 在我2010年的时候，我去了一次国泰（Cathay Pacific）的面试。虽然面试都一直很顺利的就到Final，但是我在English Test失败了~ 在我以为没有希望的时候，面试官走来告诉我要求我再考多一次English Test。但是很可惜的我又失败了，总共我浪费了2次机会。原以为真的没有希望了~ 在面试时间过了2个星期后，收到国泰的Email，再次要求我去考第3次English Test。这次我终于成功了，拿到了Medical Check Up的Email，但是我却放弃了.... 

听了我干妈的话后，我就开始怀疑难道命运安排这样就这样？自己不能改变吗？直到昨天，我决定今天去Emirates的面试，我跟自己说这次要以平常心去面试，不要再为失败而不开心。男友问我，不怕干妈的预言吗？我告诉他我想自己证明一下能不能改变我的命运，所以我决定去了。但是在我昨天放工回到家后，我找不到我面试的照片~ 我有一个File是装我面试的东西包括Resume，照片，文凭~ 但是整个File就不见了，我从凌晨1点多找到2点多，都找不到，上床睡觉时已经3点多了~ 我跟自己说：“难道真的是天不让我去？”所以我放弃了，没有照片，我不能去面试了~ 

直到今天早上，9.30am我自己醒了，看见我妹妹就顺道问她有没有看到我面试的照片，她就跟我说在我房间的抽屉~ 我呆了，翻了翻真的找到了！看看时间已经差不多10点了，但我不想放弃，赶紧叫我男友载我去面试~ 

这次的面试不一样，是直接由Emirates的面试官面试。面试9点早上开始，但我10.30早上才到~ 就在我排队排了1小时多，坐下面对面试官的时候，她就问我：“Do you have the paper slip ?” 原来9点的时候他们有个Briefing，在briefing的时候，他们派了一人一张Slip，因为我迟来所以没有得到。面试官就很残忍的对我说：“In the website we written 9am, but you reach here at 10.30am, you are late for about 1 hour and a half, I am sorry I can't accept your resume, thank you for coming.” 我又这样被轰了出来~ 连Resume都没有看到就这样失败了。

面试官有跟我说下个月11日有另一个面试，但是那个时候我在台北，12号才回来~ 我又这样错过了~ 今天应该是我第五次失败了~ 我告诉我在Emirates的朋友，她很难过说道：“难道真的是命运？”

Some Q & A about joining Cabin Crew ?

Annyeong, since the last post I post about 'Do not become a cabin crew', now no more people asking me those stupid questions, I feel glad about it LOL~ At least most of the people read it :)

Here, I am gonna answer some of the simple questions that most of you ask me before. Hope you can get some answers and tips from here :) BTW, any other questions that you wish to ask me, please comment below or leave me an email

(1) Can I still become a cabin crew if my height doesn't reach the height requirement ?
Hmm, I'm here sorry to tell you honestly NO. Minimum height requirement for cabin crew is because in case emergency, you need to reach and take those safety equipments. It's not because 'you need the height to close the overhead compartments =.='... Different aircrafts/airlines had different height requirement. If you still want to try, you may try those airlines that 'no height requirement', but they required 'arm reach' which you need to reach your arm to 208cm or 212cm... So try at home which height you can reach and goodluck :)

(2) Can I still become a cabin crew if my weight is underweight ?
Actually its all depends on how you look, if you are underweight but you look healthy, you still have a chance to join as a cabin crew, but if you are underweight and you look really skinny and unhealthy, they will ask you to gain weight and try again. I met some of my colleagues which are underweight but they look healthy :) So although you underweight, please make yourself looks healthy so you have the chance

(3) Can I still become a cabin crew if my english is not good ?
It doesn't matter whether your english is good or not, as long as you can communicate and you can perform well during interview. Do not scare to speak out, dare to speak out. Face yourself more in the mirror and talk to yourself, confident is more advantage than good english. :)

HOLLA peoples, sorry for being neglected my blog for quite some times due to I'm really busy preparing for my flights in AAX. If you guys following me on Facebook or Instagram, you will know that my very first SOLO flight was flying to Beijing, China. It's my first nighstop SOLO flight so I am so nervous and also excited LOL... Nervous due to I don't know who are my Purser and SFA and my seniors, excited is because I will be nightstop there and finally I got a chance to experience some crew life ? Hahahaha~

My flight was departed at 7.00pm and we arrived in Beijing at 1.05am. After that we followed our transport to our hotel which is Beijing Radisson Blu Hotel. Me and my roommate Belle slept at 4am and wake up at 8am because the hotel provide free breakfast :D Wah~ So happy although I feel so sleepy because only slept for 4 hours LOL... Then we wait for other crews and we went out for shopping because I need to buy a garment carrier to put my winter coat next week when I fly to Melbourne, Australia :)

Failure is the Mother of Success ?

HOLLA everyone.. a short update for today again... For those who follow my PAGE will know where I went this morning. Yay, it's Singapore Airlines Interview. 

Before I went to this interview, I gather alot of information from my friends and my colleagues. Some of them got it through after few try, some of them still can't get through although they tried so so so many times. (Scary rite?) Their interview questions are unpredictable... So you can't ready any questions because you wouldn't know what kind of questions they will asked ?? How's the interview ?? What type of people they are looking for ? Me also don't know D:

This morning, I reached Park Royal Hotel at around 8.10am and there's alot of people waiting already.. I got my number C77. I've been asked to wait in a room and documentation checked. Make sure fully fill up the form and all the documents required especially SPM certificate. First round interview, I am in group No.6. 10 people in a group and they asked us to self-intro and answer a question: What is your favourite cuisine and why ? My answer was Japanese food, is that wrong ? Hmmppp~~ Everyone stand up one by one and speak, I thought I performing not bad but still... Yes, I've been boosted out at first round. Among 10 they chose only 1 girl from MAS. 9 of us ? FAILED. 

The first feeling came to my mind was shock and sad... I was dammnnnnnn sad because I can't even pass through the first round D: Seeing my friends passed and went to height and weight checking, I was damn sad. Keep asking myself did I did anything wrong ? Calling my baby boy after 1 and half hour of the interview and my baby boy refuse to come and fetch me because he thought I'm just kidding.. LOL. 

It was sad but now I'm okkk.. Alot of people told me: FAILURE is the mother of SUCCESS! Ya... At least I gained some experience through out this interview.. :) Do not give up and we'll be fighting together again :)

想当初的我~

这2张照片是3年前的我，当时还是19岁的黄毛小丫头，一直吵嚷着要成为没有翅膀的天使。

直到有一天，在报纸上发现了亚航的面试活动，当时心情既兴奋又紧张，还在犹豫着到底要不要去？因为三天过后就是了，而我什么都没准备好~在家人的鼓励下，终于提起勇气去面试~很幸运的，我一次就过了！

明天，再次回到那时的心情！明天24日，想成为没有翅膀的天使的你们准备好了吗？

希望明天我能够顺顺利利，很幸运的，像3年前那样~ 

之前我每次都偷偷去面试，一直都不跟任何人说，因为怕自己失败了后被别人笑，被别人讲~

从亚航过后，我一路来面试的只有2间航空（国泰航空Cathay Pacific和Emirates Airlines）。

现在我不怕了，就算我失败了我还是要说出来！

The latest interview process that I copy from FLYGOSH *PS I DIDN'T OWN THIS POST

Air Asia Interview and Stages (28/03/2012) @Air Asia Academy

The interview starts at 9am and I arrived there around 8am. Is already crowded and everyone was waiting for the document checking.

1.      There were crews checking on your Original SPM cert and your IC.

2.      After that will be the weight and height checks. You have to be min 157cm for females and 170cm for males.

3.      Next, they will do verification for your certs then you will be given your lucky number of the day.

4.      Here starts the first round of the interview.  For this round there are 2 interviewers and 1 candidate. You are required to do a short cat walk, answer questions and do an announcement reading. (either in English or Malay)

5.      2^nd stage is the English and essay test. 40 mins will be given to answer. Part one there were 40 multiple choice questions and part 2 you were given 3 essay questions and you have to choose one to answer. You have to write more or less 150 words for this. 

6.      3^rd round is the toughest round for me.  There were around 50 successful candidates that make into this round. We were asked to seat in the main hall facing around 10 panels.  Each an everyone of us have to walk in front and answer 1 question from 1 of the panel. Panels are from different department, some are cabin crew, some are from HR department and you may get panels from the top management.  You will get questions such as:” tell me about Air Asia C.E.O, that’s the questions I got from the panel. You may get more than 1 question.

7.      After the 3^rd round we have to wait approximately 50 mins for the results. Around 20 candidates were selected to the final round. In the final round, you will have to show your passion towards the job. There were 3 interviewers and 1 candidate. Different kinds of questions were thrown to you and you have to answer them very well. Don’t tell them you don’t know, just show them you did your homework before you go for the interview. This is the round they need to know why they want to hire you.

8.      After the final round we were asked to go home and wait for call. It takes about 9 hours for this interview starting from the document checking.

航空面试谈

很多人问我
Air Asia Interview到底是怎样呢？
会问什么问题？
要怎样才能pass呢？
今天在这篇，我就尽我所能的告诉大家哦~

其实这是我3年前的面试过程
现在的我听说前面好像换了一点
但是后面还是一样的 :)
因为我已经飞了3年啦
*PS：我还不是SFA咯，其实在Air Asia很快就可以升为SFA了
但是因为我有时有MC，所以就这样咯
其实我没有上SFA也是好啦，因为我还没心理准备啊 :)

3年前我那时的面试是这样的
Pre-Screening
先进一间房交Resume，然后他们检查你的SPM成绩
得到号码之后，就是量身高和体重啦
接着就进另一间房等待他们叫号码面试

1：Catwalk
从不远处走到面试官的面前
然后检查手指/手臂/牙齿
他会问你几道问题，例如：几岁？做着什么工作？
然后就递给你一张纸，叫你阅读Announcement
过后就出去等号码啦 :)

过了这关之后呢
就是下星期的面试了
会告诉你地点/穿着/时间

2：Ice-Breaking
这关又是介绍你身边的朋友啦
一个一个去前面介绍你的朋友

3：Group Discussion
10-15个人一组
然后表演关于Air Asia的东西
比如：唱歌，演戏，跳舞
只要是关于Air Asia的就可以咯

4：1 on 1 Interview啦
这里就是他们问你问题的时候啦
我还记得那时他们问我的问题是：
*Why you think we should hire you as our flight attendant ?
我的答案是：因为我之前是个舞蹈员，所以我很注重teamwork, punctual... :)
*New destination for Air Asia ?
（抱歉啊！这是最深刻的问题了，其他的都不记得了，毕竟都是3年前的事了=.=）

过后就回家等email咯！

**还有，很多人问我，为什么航空都喜欢conduct group discussion ?
在这里，我想把我的意见告诉大家哦
在group discussion里，他们要找2种人
第一：就是team-leader
第二：就是team-player
Team leader通常都是那些很厉害说话的人，炒热整个group的人
Team player就是静静坐着，但是偶尔给点意见的
（我呢，通常都是饰演那个Team player，呵呵）

切记！Group Discussion的NO NO NO!!!!
*不要插嘴！
（别人在给意见的时候，永远永远都不要插嘴！这是航空最讨厌的人！）
*不要静静的缩在角落！
（在别人给意见的时候，偶尔点点头，给点意见，融入Group，但是不要静静坐着，什么都不理！
肯定不行的哦！）
*不要尝试带领整个Group！
（切记不要尝试把所有人的中心都放到你这里，不要逼迫大家接受你的意见！要好好地跟人讨论啊！
你这样信心过高太糟糕咯！）
*不要一直说‘NO’！
（别人给意见，你不喜欢，千万不可以说‘行不通！’这样会导致整个Group分裂，面试官会不喜欢！
你不喜欢那意见的话，好好的说出你的原因，这样别人才会接纳你的意见哦！）

航空面试的妆容及打扮

这篇文章我希望可以回答到《Angelene Lim》的问题
其实每间航空面试的打扮妆容都不一样
你要如何知道呢？
就是去学习每间航空的背景然后去读读你要面试的那间航空需要怎样的条件

例如Air Asia，Air Asia需要的条件就是Fun & Friendly
大家都知道什么是Fun & Friendly吧 :)
所以妆呢要浓！（切记！去每间航空的面试一定化妆一定要浓！这才表示你对面试的尊敬）
Air Asia妆要浓，但是记得用些Friendly的颜色
*我是说eye shadow哦，呵呵~
比如（浅蓝，金色，粉红，浅绿~，比较淡的颜色）

*我画上格子的那些颜色是最适合咯~

那么衣服呢？也选些颜色较Friendly的衬衫~
女生和男生都可以选些比较浅色的衬衫，领带戴不戴也没关系

这样子看起来就是他们要的类型咯，感觉起来成熟但是带点活泼
也不会太死气沉沉~ 对吗？

至于头发呢？ 去Air Asia面试就不要把头发盘上来咯
把头发放下（但是要整齐！）或绑马尾或把一半的头发盘上
不需要绑bun或空姐头~这样会显得太过老土！


这样就是最好咯！

现在来谈谈比较严肃的航空——例子：Emirates Airlines
他们的空服员要求是dynamic, professional
给你的第一想象是什么呢？就是比较严肃啦！
所以颜色呢，就必须也要严肃点的咯！
颜色要选比较深点的：深蓝，深灰，深褐色，深绿~等等

就是我画黄色格子的颜色sample咯！

至于衬衫呢，当然选些比较严肃的衬衫咯，男生就必须要打领带！


至于头发呢！一定要盘起来！
