现在的心情无法形容，一次又一次的空难，好不容易平复下来的心情，又再一次被扰乱。

虽然这是印尼亚航，但是我们戴着同样的wing pin，穿着同样的制服，飞着同一款飞机，载着同样公司的名声~ 没想到我们会在新年即将来临前遭遇到这么难过的一件事

经过了那么多的事情之后，我开始珍惜我这间航空，虽然是廉价航空，但我们就像一家人一样，没有分你我，没有尊卑之分，就连我们的CEO对我们也像一家人一样，这些是我以前看不到的，那时的我被怨恨蒙蔽了双眼，曾经一度一直想要离开这间航空

这次的事件我真的真的很心痛，理解到飞机师和空服员到最后一分钟还在尽他们最后一分力救那些乘客，我的心情就无法形容。想象到如果是自己在那架飞机上，当时的我会如何应付？当飞机在坠落的那一刻，心情又是如何？这身制服忽然穿起来好重~ 

刚刚看到新闻播放着QZ8501的消息时，我竟然哭了3次，完全按耐不住的心痛，我无法理解当时的乘客们，飞机师和空服员们到底有多害怕？看着他们的尸体一具一具的捞上来，我的心就越来越沉重

这段时间对我们亚航家庭来说很难熬，尤其是我们的CEO，自从出事以来，他就一直send email给我们一直支撑着我们，一直叫我们stay strong。这公司是他的，他比谁都难过，但是他还是很坚强的一直对我们说加油~ 第一次觉得自己很庆幸可以加入这间公司

全体亚航工作人员，我们加油吧！一起和乘客的家属们坚强的再次站起来~ 我们虽然是廉价航空，但给予乘客们的安全措施服务永不廉价 "Safety is our priority! This is always our aim~"

About My Job

A lot of people out there dreaming of become a cabin crew... What is your reason and why you want to become a cabin crew ? I know most of the people will answer: I want to travel the world, I want to know more different culture peoples.... But you don't know how tired we are of being a cabin crew...

Yes, we had fun, we had happy moments but most of the time we are tired, we are fatigue... So we need to mentally and physically prepared when working because you don't know what will happen next second.

(1) We need to prepared the aircraft before you guys can start boarding.

What we prepare ? Check the safety equipments, check the foods and drinks given by the Caterer, check the toilet fully replenished and make sure is dry and clean, spray the whole aircraft cabin, prepare the business class pillows and blankets and water. 

(2) Check the stocks

Check the passenger's pre-booked meals make sure is catered correctly, check the alcohol, the snacks and etc make sure the amount is the same in the form and in the cart. 

(3) During boarding

Do not think that we only stand there and show you seat number when boarding... Actually boarding can be very busy too... We need to help passengers to find a space for their bags, we need to brief the mother travelling with infant and offer infant seatbelt, we need to brief the wheelchair or blind or any special passengers, we need to brief the passengers that seated emergency exits.

(4) After Take-Off

After take off we are very busy too... We will distribute the immigration cards to the passengers, help passenger to fix the bassinet for the infant if they had pre-booked earlier, need to send the kids meals first to avoid kids hungry and cry, send the Portable Media Player to the pre-booked passengers only on Australia flights, heat up the meals, set up the cart and preparing for the foods and drinks service. 

(5) During meal service

We need to serve the pre-booked meal passengers one by one and also selling commercials. Sometimes please bear with us the service very slow due to some crews are busy in the galley because of the passengers order instant noodles, the meals not in the cart and we need to walk up and down to get the meals.... LOL 

(6) After meal service

We will go out with the rubbish collection so please do not handover your rubbish to the crews when they doing meal service, it's not hygiene so please wait for us to come out with the rubbish cart. After rubbish collection we need to prepare our Duty Free and Merchandise sales... 

(7) We need to check toilets every 30 minutes to make sure the toilets are clean and replenished, we need to call the cockpit every 30 minutes to make sure the pilots inside are fine, we need to check cabin every 15 minutes during day flight and bring a flashlight every 20 minutes during night flight to make sure no passengers sleeping on the floor. LOL...

(8) Before Landing

Before landing, we need to close our stocks, we need to put back everything into the cart from the display drawer, we need to check which passenger haven't claimed their meals(example like passengers not on the seat or we couldn't find the passengers), we need to collect back the Portable Media Player from the passengers, we need to stow back the baby bassinet, we need to count our money, we need to seal every cart so please bear in mind with us that when you last minute purchase something from us, we might told you that we already close our stocks... 

(9) After Landing
After all passengers disembark, we need to check the whole aircraft make sure passengers do not left anything behind 

This is my daily routine working in Air Asia X, Air Asia will be different but you may read my previous post 'A Day as a Flight Attendant in Air Asia' 
If nothing happen on that flight will be a very smooth flight but if anything happen will be very very tired... Now you can get a clear image on how we work onboard... It's a very busy life as a cabin crew :)

中国南方航空面试经验谈

大家好，我肥来了~ 抱歉了那么久才回来更新我的部落格。看看我的部落格已经铺上那么厚的灰尘~ LOL。这次回来是以中文来写是因为这次想跟大家分享我这次中国南方航空的面试。

刚开始是在Flygosh看到这个新闻，得知中国南方航空招聘马来西亚籍空服员。当时吓了一跳因为这还是中国第一次到马来西亚招聘空服员。刚开始对这公司一无所知但却被他们的制服吸引了，就上网看了看他们的资料，得知这航空其实来头不小，是全世界数一数二的航空公司，总部在广州。

好奇心强的我，当天看到了这则新闻就马上下载了他们的表格填上交了上去。之后过了大约1星期左右，我就收到了他们的邮件，叫我10月27日到Intercontinental Hotel进行面试。当天我却有事情做就缺席了。很幸运的，他们叫我28日再回去面试。所以28日我就去了

第一轮面试

到hotel后，就去柜台拿号码，然后进行第一轮面试。6人一组，进去站在号码上对着4位评委，然后用中文进行一轮的自我介绍。过后，评委们就吩咐我们手脚合并，向左转一圈，再绕着评委们走一圈回到自己的号码上，伸手让他们检查手掌和手背，之后就出去等成绩

第二轮面试

重新拿号码，也是6人一组。进去坐在自己的号码上。每人到评委那里抽签，抽到的标题使用英语来解释。每人会有2分钟的时间想，然后再用2分钟的时间解释。我当天得到的问题是‘没有人永远会赢’。每人说完了之后，回到自己的座位，评委给个题目开始辩论会~ 3人是正方，3人是反方，5分钟的时间开始辩论。然后就可以回家，他们会通过电话通知你。如果傍晚6点前没有收到电话就表示面试失败了

第三轮面试

重新拿号码，拿了号码的向他们拿制服，换上他们的制服然后也是分为6人一组进行面试。面试前每人必须拍一张半身照和一张全身照。进去站在自己的号码上，同样的和第一轮面试一样，使用中文进行自我介绍，同样的手脚合并，向左转一圈，再绕着评委们走一圈回到自己的号码上，然后每人读一篇中文短文，之后评委们会根据我们的resume来进行问答题，之后也是回家等通知啦。

很可惜的，我失败了。最后一轮的面试我并没有收到通知，我的朋友们都拿到了，星期一就去medical check up。其实我也不知道自己失败在哪里，可能是身高吧？因为我在我的resume里诚实的填写160cm，但是他们的高度标准却是163cm LOL~ 好吧，这间航空也不属于我，说真的，我到底要留在我现在这间航空多久啊？ =.= 哭死

PS：但是这次面试真的很特别因为我还是第一次使用中文来面试，哈哈

The Basic Safety Knowledge Onboard that can SAVE yourself

 

I know that as a Cabin Crew or Flight Attendant, our responsibility is to ensure the safety of ALL the passengers, but DO NOT always rely on the cabin crew. You yourself can SAVE yourself too. Within these few years I'm flying, seems like a lot passengers do not have the basic safety knowledge onboard. If you comply ALL these points I'll be sharing with you guys, you'll not only save the time for evacuation, as well as save yourself too :) 

(1) Please put ALL your bags in the overhead compartments or UNDER the seat INFRONT of you
Most of the passengers will put their bags in the overhead compartment before take off, but everytime when we check the cabin before landing, we will see ALOT BIG BAGS that tried to fit in under the seat which is VERY WRONG. I know most of the passengers would like to get off the airplane as soon as possible after landing so they put their bags under the seat before landing. Here I'm gonna tell you what is SO WRONG. First, you must put all your big bags in the overhead compartment and small bag you may put it under the seat infront of you. Please TAKE NOTE, is UNDER THE SEAT INFRONT OF YOU, not under your leg.
*Why no big bags under the seat ? Some luggage case is too big and it will block the passenger infront of you to take their lifevest when comes to emergency
*Why not under your leg ? Because in case of emergency, it will block your LIFEVEST which located under your seat
*Why have to be under the seat infront of you ? Because you must make sure the path is clear of obstructions, you wouldn't want to block yourself because of your own bag when comes to evacuation. Right ?

(2) Please be ALERT if you are sitting next to an EMERGENCY EXIT
Where are the emergency exits ? For AirAsia will be row12 and row14, For AirAsiaX will be row15HJK, row 35ABC and row35HJK. If you are sitting next to an emergency exit, please be concentrate when the crews brief you about the emergency exit because you need to help us to open the exit when comes to emergency.
*Why have to be alert ? Some passengers like to sleep all the way but please be awake during take off after 3 minutes and also 7 minutes before landing, it's the critical time that most of the emergency would happen.
*Please study all the safety information in the safety card and read through how to open the emergency exit
*No BAGS at all at the emergency exit area because you do not want your bag become one of the obstructions when comes to evacuation

(3) Please check your LIFEVEST availability onboard
Everytime when you go onboard, just pull the tag under your seat and check is there any LIFEVEST in it. If you do not have a lifevest under your seat please inform the cabin crew and they will bring you one. You do not want to evacuate without a lifevest right ?
If you have a infant/baby with you, please ask the cabin crew where are the infant life vest located or ask them to bring you one and they will put it in your seat pocket. DO NOT OPEN if there is no emergency.
*The lifevest under your seat is different from infant lifevest and is only for ADULTS, infant lifevest is located somewhere else.

(4) Please study where are the emergency exits located
When you go onboard, take some time to study the safety information card and know where are the emergency exits. Different airlines have different safety information so read through the safety card. You might don't know the nearest emergency exits might be behind you :) In case of emergency, you will know which exit you can use and evacuate.

 (5) Remove all your earphones/handsfree during take off and landing
Take off and landing is the critical phases that most of the emergency will happen, so please be focus and alert during take off and landing. Look around your surrounding and if you sit near the window, try to look outside the window and you might spot something that we can't see. DO NOT listen to musics at this time because you might missed out the Captain's emergency announcement.

Some basic safety knowledge that can save the evacuation time and save yourself too :) Do share to your families and friends and practice the safety routine all the time when you go onboard :) Have a safe flight everyone

10 Different Type of Passengers

 

Hi my lovely peoples, I always blog about Flight Attendant this, Flight Attendant that... So this time would like to blog about passengers... Hmmm... It's not a sargastic post don't worry... If not I will get scolded again LOL... Today I'm gonna blog about 10 different types of passengers that I always met onboard, let's see which one are you ?? hahahaha~

 

(1) The passengers that sleep all the way

No matter take off, turbulence, food and drinks service, landing until the aircraft door is open, these passengers can sleep all the way.. Nothing can disturb them from sleeping :) It's very easy-handle passengers :)

FA: Sir/Maam, would you like to buy something ?

PAX: ZzzzzZZZZzzzzzzZZzzz

FA: Sir/Maam, please fasten your seatbelt due to turbulence...

PAX: ZzZzZZzzzZZZ (Fasten seatbelt but the eyes are still close)

 

(2) The passengers that like to complain every single little things

PAX: Why the seats so small ?

FA: ..........

PAX: Why your service so slow ?

FA: ..........

PAX: The foods are sucks... and so EXPENSIVE

FA: ..........

PAX: Even water also sold RM4, what else you giving us are FREE ?

FA: .......... Nothing...

 

(3) The passengers that like to tell their story to Flight Attendant

PAX: Do you love your job ?

FA: Yeah... Of course...

PAX: How long you been working in this airline ?

FA: 5 years ?

PAX: Woah... My son also work as a pilot and my other son work as a lawyer, one based in England one based in US, I always travelled here and there to see my son....................................

 

(4) The passengers that forced the Flight Attendant to speak their language

PAX: @$#$%%^$^%%^#$@#!#%^&^&*

FA: Errr.... Sorry, I could not understand... Can you speak in English ?

PAX: @$%^&^$%@#^%^&**&*&*

FA: Err... English ??? English ???

PAX: @##$%@$^&^*&*(^&%^&%

FA: ...................

 

(5) The passengers that respect and afraid of Flight Attendant so much

FA: Sir/Maam, could you please put your bag under the seat ?

PAX: Oooohh... Sorry sorry (kick the bag under the seat)

FA: Sir/Maam, could you please turn off your laptop for landing ?

PAX: Sorryyy.... (straight away press the on/off button to off the laptop)

Err... Actually you can take your time to 'shut down' your laptop is ok ^^

 

(6) The passengers that listen instructions all the flight

ANNOUNCEMENT: ...... Fasten seatbelt due to turbulence

PAX: (straight away awake and fasten seatbelt)

ANNOUNCEMENT: ..... Please stow your tray table and put your seat upright for landing...

PAX: (straight away stow the tray table and seat upright)

(7) The passengers that don't know what are we doing..
FA: Any foods or drinks to purchase ?
PAX: (handover the rubbish to us)
FA: I will come back for the rubbish collection shortly :)
FA: (pushing the rubbish cart) Any rubbish to dispose ?
PAX: Can I order one Nasi Lemak and one Coke ?
FA: ....................

(8) The passengers that thought Flight Attendant are information counter
PAX: Do you know where are we flying over ?
FA: .......... (we are not pilots)
PAX: Do you know when AirAsia have promotion for flight tickets ?
FA: .......... (we are not promotion advertising department)
PAX: Do you know what are nice in Melbourne ?
FA: .......... (I'm from Malaysia not from Melbourne)

(9) The passengers that very very very stingy
FA: Hi Sir/Maam, this is your balance RM2
PAX: What is the rate onboard ?
FA: It's 2.8017 Sir/Maam
PAX: (pressing the calculator).... I thought you should have given me back RM2.20 ?
FA: I'm so sorry, because we do not carry coins so I only can give you back RM2
PAX: Then I give you another 1 dollar and you give me back RM1 more...
FA: ..................... OK..

(10) The passengers that Happy Go Lucky
PAX: Hi can I have a Nasi Lemak ?
FA: I am so sorry but our Nasi Lemak sold out, would you like to try something else ?
PAX: yeah sure... Just give me anything
FA: :) Thank you so much

So which one are you ??? Hopefully not the number.9 LOL hahahahaha

空服员的代价和牺牲

 

空服员永远给人一种神秘的感觉~到底这份工是好处多还是坏处多？不是内行人永远不会知道。我之前每次都写道：身为空服员并不容易~ 空服员不像你外面看到的那么光鲜亮丽，内心有种种不开心难过的事情还是很多的。今天想跟大家分享一下，想成为空服员的你，看了这篇后，你还会继续坚持你的梦想吗？

 

想成为空服员的人有很多，但是坚持这个梦想的人并不多~ 因为想踏入这一行除了有难度之外，当你开始正式飞行之后，很多事情很多东西你必须牺牲。工钱好？免费旅行？到处飞？这些东西你都必须付出代价才可以得到。

 

空服员牺牲品1#面子

想必这个我也不需要多说了，在前几篇你们都看到不看了吧~ 面子？在空服员的眼中，什么是面子，面子在我们字典里并不存在。在乘客发牢骚面前，你不可以有面子。在发疯的seniors面前，你不可以有面子。在无理取闹的机长们机师们面前，你不可以有面子。忍耐；是你唯一的出路~

 

空服员牺牲品2#健康

健康这方面是我第一次在部落格里提到的吧~昨天在从东京飞往吉隆坡的班机上，听说一位同事因为患上‘slip disc’而MC了整整6个月。Slip disc是什么？这是一个在空服员里最常见的腰部受伤病证。初时只会觉得腰部疼痛，如果是最严重的阶段，腰部会疼痛的厉害，还会下半身完全麻痹，不能走路~ 在我们公司里，已经有超过30%的同事因为这个slip disc而停飞了整整6个月-1年。为什么会得到这个slip disc？就是因为有时帮乘客搬抬重的行李，也是因为工作关系必须搬搬抬抬重的食物卡车。现在我也开始害怕了，因为偶尔腰部会酸酸这样的，听说中了slip disc的话，很难康复~

 

空服员牺牲品3#家庭

由于我们长时间一直在飞机里工作，飞机里的气压对我们人体不好，尤其是女生/女人。长期在飞机里工作的话，气压会影响子宫，子宫脆弱，造成生育系统出现问题。有同事想要孩子，但是却不能因为子宫脆弱。也有同事怀孕了却不知道，照常去上班结果流产~ 所以想要有孩子的同事都会拿无薪假期在家里好好疗养再尝试有孩子~

 

空服员牺牲品4#青春

空服员最大的牺牲品就是青春。看看我，一直就是工作工作，从19岁到现在24岁，就是一直做一直做，5年了，感觉上却失去了很多，没有享受到什么。朋友们约好出去聚会，因为工作不能去。朋友们约好一起去旅行，因为工作不能去。朋友们结婚，因为工作不能出席。曾经我很是难过，在抱怨自己为什么会选择这行，为什么别人到处喝酒到处玩而我却要工作？如果是选择普通的工作，到了星期六星期日我也就得空了~朋友每次约你而你每次推辞，渐渐的也不再找你了

 

空服员牺牲品5#特别节日

New Year Eve想去countdown，但是不能因为工作

New Year全世界放假，朋友们去喝酒庆祝，不能出席因为工作

Chinese New Year想去拜年拿红包，不能因为工作

Valentine's Day想和男友吃烛光晚餐，不能因为工作

School Holiday难得的全家人旅行，想要去但是不能因为工作

Christmas想和男友过一过圣诞派对，不能因为工作

重要的生日，只能自己过因为工作

当你必须在这些假日的时候工作，那种心情特别难熬~ 假期当然可以拿？但是很难公司会给你因为每个人都申请啊~ 尤其是自己的生日，特别的寂寞

The Safety Equipments onboard

 

Hi guys, sorry that I'm late for blogging again... I really wish I could have more time to update my blog :( Why am I so lazy LOL... I just came back from Osaka, Japan. It was an awesome trip... At first I am so worry about my trip cause I scare I went to the wrong place, took the wrong train or can't communicate with them.. Only me and my mum, my mum followed me all the way so I planned the whole trip... Kinda stress actually hahahaha~ Luckily I did well and we manage to go all the places :) Happy....

 

Okayy, stop talking about my Japan trip first.. I will blog it out next time. Today I'm gonna show you what are the safety equipments onboard.. These safety equipments are prepared onboard in case any emergency like fire, passenger fainted or whatever s*** happened. So please do not think the whole aircraft is nothing, actually every aircraft equipped with a lot safety equipments. And we as a flight attendant, we learned and study how to use and operate all these safety equipments. So do not under estimate us ok ?? hahahaha~

 

Extension Seatbelt

This is an extra seatbelt that we do carried onboard for oversize passengers. In case the normal seatbelt onboard can't buckled up for the oversize passengers, then they need to use this extra seatbelt to fastened their seatbelt. 



 

 

 

Infant Seatbelt/Baby Seatbelt

This is another extra seatbelt for mother with infant. The picture above shows how a mother use an infant seatbelt. The mother should use an infant seatbelt during take off, turbulence and landing. So if you got an infant with you, once onboard you may request this infant seatbelt from the flight attendant. It is more secured than you holding your baby. 

 

Daily First Aid Kit

We do carried 03 daily first aid kit on AirAsiaX flight and 01 on AirAsia flight. If you feeling unwell like headache, stomachache, nausea or indigestion. We have all the medications and of course its FREE LOL...

 

Infant Life Vest/Baby Life Vest



We do carried baby life vest onboard. Under every passengers seat do have 01 adult life vest but we do not put infant life vest under passenger seat. These infant life vest are stowed in a special compartment where you can request from the flight attedant if you need one to prepare for any ditching emergency.  

Megaphone

This is a megaphone where incase we need to evacuate from the aircraft, as a flight attendant we need to bring down this megaphone to authourize onground. Hahahaha~ So all the passengers could hear our instructions. 

 

Transmitter

This is a equipment when any emergency happen, after we evacuate from the aircraft, as a flight attendant we need to turn it on. This equipment will send out the frequency so the other aircraft, military aircraft up there will receive the frequency and they can locate where are we and save us. 

 

AED

This is an electrical equipment when passenger fainted and we can't hear any heartbeat. We can use this to save the passenger. It is something like those doctors use in the hospital but this voltage is lower.. :)

 

Oxygen bottle

In case passenger difficulty in breathing, we will turn it on and cover the passenger's nose and mouth so he/she can get the oxygen.

Gateway @ KLIA2

Hello KLIA2! Welcome to our new home~ Sorry for my akward smile LOL...

 

Hi guys, as you all know today is the 7th day since AirAsia start operating on 9th May 2014 in the new airport Gateway @ KLIA2. I should blog earlier about our new home but I'm so busy doing my homework about my Osaka trip LOL... And try to learn some simple japanese hahahaha~ Well... hope I can survive in Osaka LOL... 

KLIA2 is super duper huge with 3 floor levels, 200+ shops, 80 aerobridge, more than 50 check in counter and 60 gates... Hmmm... Well, it's damn big as a low cost airport huh ? But for me, this airport is no longer low cost anymore... FYI, KLIA2 is not only AirAsia operating, there are total 10 low cost airlines operating here.

The good thing about this airport and for us is AirAsia no longer using stairs for embarkation and disembarkation, no more walking under hot sun or heavy rain... AirAsiaX using 2 aerobridge for embarkation and disembarkation, 1 is connected to the front aircraft door, another 1 is connected to the 2nd aircraft door. No more 'BUS STOP' look alike airport anymore... hahaha~

For guys who havent been to KLIA2, here is the floor plan for you guys... For those who travelling, you may reach KLIA2 earlier to go shopping, walk around and had a coffee before boarding... there are alot of shops, restaurant, cafes in KLIA2 such as Guardian, Jaya Grocery, Vincci, Giordano, Polo Authentics, Mac Apple, Toy R Us, Coffee Bean, Starbucks, Nyonya colors, Baskin Robbins, Gong Cha, Be Lohas Organics, Oldtown White Coffee, Pizza Hut, KFC, McDonalds, Marry Brown and more....

A Day at MyeongDong @ Seoul, KOREA

While waiting for my lunch BIBIMBAP before going out to MyeongDong... (Hungry Girl)

 

I'm back to blog... But I know soon I will break the promise again cause I am so busy nowadays LOL... hahaha~ Well, I'm planning another last minute trip again, but this time with my mum to OSAKA Japan on 18th May. So it's very hard for me to save money T.T (cry) Okaay, back to this topic. Actually this time I consider very lucky because this flight to Seoul is long stay... We got 1 and half day in Seoul so we decided go to MyeongDong, the famous shopping place in Seoul, Korea.

 

Finally Hungry girl is happy now because the BIBIMBAP is here... Yum Yum

The weather is so nice here, around 18 degree

 

I wonder why Malaysia do not have these kind of streets... I've been to Japan, Australia and alot places do have these streets selling those branded stuffs or things... LOL
